Your Opportunity
TechAccess is investing in building a new software group that will focus on "Best of Breed" enterprise software vendors from across the world. The new group will focus on several key domains. A key focus of the organization will be Digital Enterprise Management. We have secured key vendor relationships and adopted a unified strategy for the region. This role will lead the technical architect team under professional services for this practice and shape the future direction of the business. This role is an opportunity to be a part of new and exciting journey within a strong regional technology distribution player. Your Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle to drive opportunities
    • Delivers and customizes technical presentations on BMC products using virtual technologies
    • Builds new presentations for use by sales and other software consultants that emphasise the value of BMC solutions
    • Relate customer stories that show the value of solutions while adapting to persona based use cases
    • Understands product capabilities, limitations and implementation
    • Can describe technical tradeoffs and implementation alternatives
    • Actively participates in sales calls involving complex technical requirements or multiple hardware platforms
    • Identifies and develops innovative solutions to customer requirements. Also is responsible for explaining and researching the technical capabilities of BMC's products verses our competition
    • Assist in developing competitive product white papers for use by sales and software consultants
    • Can focus on sales opportunity ranging from smaller or single solution to large or complex sales opportunities requiring complex solutions
    • Works with the sales representative with little supervision to define sales and technical strategies in dealing with the client

Technical Skills

    • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to keep an audience engaged over virtual telecommunication methods
    • Strong problem solving and analytical ability
    • Substantial experience working in an enterprise-type software consulting, implementation, and training experience a plus
    • Experience working on our flagship ITSM portfolio:- BMC Remedy, Remedy OnDemand, and Remedyforce (in partnership with Salesforce.com) or any of our competitors' products is highly advantageous
    • Project management experience involving software implementations
    • Capable of pro-actively driving sales enablement and initiatives
    • Professional or Presales consulting experience, presentation and character
    • Analyze customer needs and implement solutions through research and troubleshooting and recommending a solution understanding the customer's business of IT
    • Fluent English is required and additional Western European languages are encouraged
    • Identifies and resolves technical and business problems with the trial. Makes recommendations to terminate trials when necessary. Assists less experienced Software Consultants in trial management
    • Researches, composes and delivers responses to RFPs. Interacts with clients to clarify requirements
    • Reviews RFP responses for technical accuracy
    • Generates timely status reports, time usage reports and expense reports as requested by management
    • Collects business and technical information from clients regarding requirements. Determines whether BMC solutions can technically satisfy these requirements. Confers with the sales representative, technical and sales management on these observations
    • Designs and builds customized demonstrations of BMC solutions for prospective clients possibly using pre-production and beta software. Presents and delivers these demonstrations to clients
    • Installs solutions at client sites as part of proof of concept (POC) or pilot
